Wizz Air Announces Its annual All You Can Fly Promotion

Wizz Air, a budget airline, has introduced an “all you can fly” subscription that gives customers unlimited flights for a 499 euro (£428; $549).
While carriers have offered an assortment of multi-flight bundles for quite a while, limitless arrangements are a generally new idea.
The plan is comparable to those offered by Malaysia-based AirAsia and US-based Frontier Airlines.
In the UK, Wizz Air has come under fire for its poor customer service and frequent flight delays. The annual pass will be discounted until August 16, after which it will cost 599 euros.
With a flat fee of 9.99 euros, subscribers will be able to travel to Asia, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia starting in September by booking a flight up to three days in advance.
According to Wizz Air, 10,000 subscriptions will be sold at the airports where it operates.
However, a number of the “airport of preference” options appeared to be sold out when BBC News checked the company’s website.
On the page, a message read: For the situation that you can’t choose your favored air terminal, kindly note that the cutoff has been reached and Wizz Air is sadly unfit to offer you a Wizz All You Can Fly enrollment as of now.”
Additionally, the website’s terms and conditions state that membership holders are not guaranteed seat availability, which is contingent on “several external and internal factors.”
For the third year in a row, Wizz Air was named the worst airline for UK flight delays in June.
The PA news agency found that official data showed that Wizz Air planes’ departures from UK airports were on average 31 minutes late last year.
Driving UK customer bunch Which? has also ranked the airline as having the worst customer service performance.
Wizz Air was fined 770,000 euros this month by the competition authority of Hungary for misleading communications, including how it encouraged customers to purchase more expensive travel packages.
“Questions the legality of the fine, disagrees with its reasoning, and is taking legal action,” Wizz Air stated to BBC News.
Also in August, Wizz Air reported a 44% decrease in operating profit for the first quarter and lowered its overall year-end profit forecast.
